Custom Razor Restoration Service

Have a unique heirloom razor? Or maybe an antique you recently found online? It probably isn’t in a condition you’d actually want to shave with.

Here’s what I’ll do:

  • Un-pin the scales and if they’re in good shape clean them up as much as possible and polish them. If they’re in rough shape, I can create custom scales out of a variety of materials to your exact specifications for an extra cost.
  • Remove as much pitting, rust, and tarnish as I can from the razor. The end result will vary depending on how rough the condition of your razor initially is – some pitting just can’t be completely removed without compromising its integrity, but I’ll do my best to make it look better than new.
  • Re-pin the whole thing using brass pins and washers.
  • Hone the razor.

Questions? Just ask! Send me lots of detailed pictures of your item and we can discuss exactly what needs to be done.
