Clauss was founded in 1877 by the same group of guys who later started JA Henckels in 1906. These companies formed the largest cutlery company inthe world at the time. Clauss still exists today, but has been bought by several companies. Vintage Class razors are among the best and well-known US makes. This razor is a monster at 8/8 with a flat point, hollow grind, and has its original celluloid scales.
